The Importance of ANSI / ISEA 110-2003
The iEvac® Fire Escape Hood is CERTIFIED to the first American Standard for smoke escape devices, ANSI / ISEA 110-2003.
The importance of this Standard has been recognized by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), who evaluated other commercially available products that were being sold as smoke escape hoods. When these products were evaluated, they were all compared with the requirements of the American Standard ANSI / ISEA 110-2003. The published results show that all of the products tested failed. Not one met the requirements of the Standard. There is now a smoke escape hood available that not only meets all the requirements but in important features exceeds them. The iEvac® Fire Escape Hood is CERTIFIED to the first American Standard ANSI / ISEA 110-2003.
